We are excited to announce a new Embold release packed with some great new features. We have listened to our users and their needs to increase their and your value of Embold.
With this release, we focused on offering more integrations into the DevOps toolchain, making it as easy and as effortless as possible to pass findings from Embold to tools like Azure DevOps or enhancing the API capabilities to utilize more data.
Azure DevOps
We received a lot of demand for integrating Azure DevOps with Embold. We listened to our users and are now offering task integration and pull request for Azure DevOps. Just connect your Azure DevOps with your Embold project like this:
Start creating tasks directly from Embold. All relevant information will be then passed to Azure DevOps so the assignee can start working on that issue right away.
Adding more APIs
To increase the value of Embold to our customers, we also enhanced our APIs making more data available through our API. Now is possible to integrate code issues through our API. The pull request scan results are also available through Embold’s API. To get a deeper understanding on how rich our API is, check out our API documentation here.
Enhancing our C/C++ results
Besides the integration part, we also increased the value of our C/C++ code issue results, adding 108 code issues as we upgraded the Clang to version 9.0.0, making our C/C++ results even more powerful than before. As we increased the scanning speed a few releases back, you will get now even better results, fast!
In addition to these major features, we are always working on performance, security, and usability to continue serving you the best product on the market. To empower our users to create great software products by keeping software clean, secure, and easy to maintain.
Let us know what you think! We always are keen to hear what our users have to say and how we can improve our product.
